Introduction Conversive disorder is characterised by the presence of one or more involuntary neurological symptoms that are not due to a clear medical pathology. On other hand, consciously simulated illnesses fall into two diagnostic categories: factitious disorders and malingering, which differentiated both motivation for behaviour awareness motivation. Factitious behaviours motivated an unconscious need assume sick role, whereas malingering driven achieve external secondary gains. Objectives Study differences between conversion their repercussions from case difficult diagnosis. Methods Bibliographic review scientific literature based on relevant clinical case. Results We present 14-year-old male patient. Adoptive parents. Studying in high school. Social difficulties since childhood. He comes emergency department several occasions referring stereotyped movements motor tics four extremities with left cervical lateralization.
